Why owners may care

Useful context, without pretending one headline sets value.

New supply and development activity can influence neighborhood investment, construction costs, buyer expectations, and future rent competition. Entitlements are not completed units, so owners should separate approvals, permits, construction starts, and delivered inventory when evaluating supply.
